Great start to July!

We've had a great start to the month of July. Last Monday was Mom's first day of work at Starbucks, so I stayed home with my roommates. We had a blast. Then on Wednesday when Mom went back to work, I went to work with Dad, which was awesome. I went to my first lifeguard safety meeting, helped welcome people to the park, and we even did a little paperwork in the office--followed by naptime of course. Dad said I was a great helper and that in August I could do some guarding at the park. On Friday, I went swimming with Dad in the lake. It was too cold for Mom, so she took some pictures from the shore-I'm starting to see a pattern with mom and temperatures. Then on the Fourth of July I got to hang out with Dad during the day and after the barbeque we went out on the boat to watch the fireworks. We had 14 people in the boat, most of them kids, I couldn't have asked for a better Fourth of July. Now as I type this out I'm listening (I'm still not allowed to watch TV) to the Wimbledon Final on the Tivo. What a great match. Congratulation Fed on your 15th grand slam!

I'm learning that sometimes the things you want the most are just out of your reach.

Dad seems determined to make sure I love water as much as he does.

Thanks to Mom and Aunt Biza (thanks for the top) I won the contest for cutest Fourth of July outfit. Dad says it wasn't even close.

We watched the fireworks from the boat, we had a great view because we were only a couple hundred yards from where they were being launched. It was a pretty spectacular sight, hundreds of boats gathered around the barge to watch incredible fireworks. God Bless America.

Love to all,

Reese Bronson
